As you stand before these monumental structures, don’t miss the Great Sphinx—a colossal statue, 40 meters long, with the body of a lion and the head of a human, guarding the Giza site.

Memphis – the ancient capital

Next, travel to Memphis, the ancient capital of Lower Egypt, over 5000 years old. Located just south of Cairo, you’ll find remnants of this once-great city, including several statues, such as the magnificent Ramses II statue.

Sakara - the cradle of stone architecture

Finally, visit Saqqara, famous for the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the oldest stone structure in the world. This step pyramid, the first to use multiple stacked mastabas, represents a major advancement in ancient Egyptian architecture.
